Front Desk and Billing Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

Patient Services:

●      Greet and register patients in a friendly and professional manner.

●      Verify patient account and collect payments in full.

●      Schedule and confirm appointments.

●      Coordinate patient intake from referring agencies and creating patient account.

●      Answer and direct phone calls, taking accurate messages and transferring calls as needed.

●      Assist with patient inquiries and concerns.

●      Maintain patient confidentiality.

Financial and AR Tasks:

●      Collect and process payments, including credit card transactions.

●      Prepare and process daily deposits.

●      Maintain accurate patient records and accounts.

●      Review and reconcile patient ledgers and balances.

●      Assist with billing, data entry and collections, including making outbound calls to patients.

●      Prepare and mail patient statements and notices.

●      Process and follow up on payments.

●      Order office supplies and maintain inventory.

General Office Duties:

●      Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

●      Sort and distribute mail.

●      Assist with document scanning, monitor general email account.

●      Assist with various administrative tasks as needed.

●      Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of daily work.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-


Full-Time

Front Desk and Billing Assistant candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

●       Previous experience in a medical office or billing company.

●       Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese.

●       Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

●       Excellent organizational and time management skills.

●       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

●       Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

●       Detail-oriented and accurate.

●       Professional demeanor and positive attitude.


Salary

$20 - $22 per hour
