Who We Are

L. Norwood & Associates is a Black femme-led, boutique consulting firm specializing in political, issue campaigns, nonprofit strategy, communications, and capacity building. We are a lean and powerful team of skilled professionals committed to engaging and including the voices of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in critical political races, policy, and quality of life issues. We are not your typical big-box consultants. Instead, our team consists of passionate and expert organizers of color who use their talents to support organizations and initiatives to increase equity in BIPOC communities. We see our work as a vehicle to help advance BIPOC communities, and we believe culturally responsive communications, systems, and programs are critical to dismantling systemic racism. Therefore, our team is deeply invested in developing targeted strategies that win, contribute residual benefits for BIPOC communities, and impact systemic change. We are movement builders.

We have Southern California roots but serve clients nationwide, and we were founded in 2019 by marketer, strategist, and national organizer, Lanae Norwood.
