About the Role
Kyron Medical is a fast-paced voice AI health tech startup looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and scale our product. You will have significant ownership over the full product development lifecycle, from designing and implementing new features to deploying, monitoring, and improving them in production.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys moving quickly, working closely with customers, and turning real-world feedback into product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Own features and projects from initial concept through development, deployment, and iteration.
- Build and maintain scalable frontend and backend systems.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered voice and healthcare workflows.
- Work closely with customers to understand needs, troubleshoot issues, and translate feedback into product improvements.
- Quickly prototype, ship, test, and iterate on new features.
- Collaborate with the founding team and other engineers on product and technical decisions.
- Monitor production systems and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.
- Contribute to architecture, engineering best practices, testing, and code quality.
- Take ownership of problems and independently drive them to resolution.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production applications.
- Experience with both frontend and backend development.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and web development frameworks.
- Experience working with APIs, databases, and cloud-based applications.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with changing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to interact directly with customers.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
Desired Skills
- Experience with React, TypeScript, Python, or similar modern technologies.
- Experience building AI-powered products or working with LLMs, voice AI, speech recognition, or conversational systems.
- Experience with healthcare technology or other highly regulated products.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
- Strong product sense and an interest in turning customer feedback into simple, effective solutions.
