Description

The Kryder Law Group is growing and looking for a well-rounded Personal Injury Paralegal who is comfortable managing cases from intake through resolution.


This position is ideal for someone who has worked at a small or mid-sized PI firm and handled many aspects of a case, from gathering records and communicating with clients to assisting with settlements and final disbursement.

What You’ll Do

Case Management

  • Assist case managers with file organization as cases approach resolution
  • Review case materials to ensure records and billing are complete prior to settlement
  • Support final case preparation prior to transfer into settlement phase
  • Maintain organized documentation within the case management system
  • Provide administrative support related to case progression when needed

Settlement & Resolution

  • Coordinate execution of releases and settlement documents
  • Prepare settlement statements and distribution sheets
  • Review case costs and reconcile financial breakdowns
  • Investigate and negotiate medical liens
  • Communicate settlement breakdowns clearly to clients
  • Coordinate disbursements and final file closure
  • Request client reviews at successful case resolution

Organization & Quality Control

  • Maintain accurate file documentation
  • Ensure deadlines and follow-ups are tracked
  • Conduct final audits before file closure


What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years working in a personal injury law firm
  • Experience managing files independently
  • Exposure to both pre-litigation and settlement processes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable reviewing numbers and financial documents
  • Experience with Smokeball, Filevine, Lead Docket, or similar systems preferred
  • Spanish/English bilingual preferred
