This role will be responsible for providing support to the operations manager and assisting with day-to-day operations. The operations assistant will help ensure that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Description

Responsibilities

·     Recruiting, building up and leading the regional operations team

·     Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping

·     Perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing our inventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data and reduce sub-rental expenses

·     Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes

·     Run a safe, injury/accident-free workplace – follow OSHA guidelines and requirements

·     Work closely with management and HQ team to set and/or implement policies, procedures and systems and to follow through with implementation.

·Ensure profitability and sustainability of the branch.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Implementing Company Policy

·     Ensuring that the operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by the fellow management and other employees

 

2. Ensuring Profitable & Sustainable Growth

·     Developing strategic operating plans that reflect the longer-term objectives and priorities established by HQ management and the local market / needs

·     Assist the COO to ensure that the operating results established in the annual budget are achieved - as a minimum - and the control of operating expenses within budget

§ putting in place adequate operational planning and financial control systems

§ forecasting of sales and operations costs

§ monitor operation costs closely - continuous adjustments of operations costs in order to ensure the company's profitability

·     Recommending to the HQ management changes to policies and procedures that would improve the organization

 

3. HQ Reporting & Risk Management

·     Maintaining continuous communication and dialogue with the HQ management

·     implementing strategic management decisions on a local branch level

Salary

$55,000 - $65,000 per year
