Do you love having fun? Want to be part of a super fun team? Ever wanted to DJ and get on the mic? Feel comfortable leading others? Have Saturdays free? Then it’s time to jump into the event world and become a DJ Assistant and start your path to being a Kramer wedding DJ!

Lead a wedding to success. Have a blast watching a crowd have the time of their life because of your efforts.

Kramer Events is looking to train and develop DJs and MCs to help lead our weddings and work alongside an awesome team!

If you are a fun-loving, outgoing, customer service-oriented individual with reliable transportation, this is the perfect part-time weekend job.

The Process

This opportunity can take some time to bear fruit, but it's worth it. It takes time to develop into a full MC/DJ with us. You'll need patience and dedication. But afterwards, you'll have the most fun Saturday job on the planet. You'll be an assistant learning the ropes until next year when you'll hopefully be able to take your own events.

• Join our event team as DJ Assistant / Photo Booth Tech now.
• Go through in-person and online training to assist our DJs and photo booths.
• Assist us on our events on Saturdays
• Train with us in person for DJ and MC training from February through May a few days a week.
• Graduate as an MC/DJ and lead your own weddings with us!

Minimum Requirements

• Fun, extremely outgoing personality
• Comfortable speaking in front of people
• Your own reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Able to lift 75 pounds
• Able to work weekend nights
• Must be okay working both photo booth and DJ assistant shifts
• Can commit to working most Saturdays May - October

Preferred Experience

• Mic use
• DJ Mixing

Compensation

Training as an assistant ranges between $16-$18/hr for the training period.

Varies based on experience, training required, skill, and equipment needed. After training, pay as a Wedding DJ/MC ranges from $450-$950 per event, plus tips.

Pay: $250.00 - $950.00 per day

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
