Description

We are Heading Health, a patient focused company tackling depression with our network of Texas based clinics. We are currently focussed on delivering insurance-covered, in-person Ketamine and Spravato treatments, as a demonstration that access to these treatments for all is possible. In doing so we intend to remain on the front line of addressing the mental health epidemic, prepared for the introduction of further innovative medicines as they attain FDA approval.

Our patients are suffering from crippling depression so the near term goal is to deliver immediate functional improvements, and in the medium term to have rewarding, nourishing lives. Some consider us to be unreasonably devoted and flexible to achieve this pioneering mission.

The role involves working with people who’ve been living with depression and have been failed by traditional medications, broken healthcare system, and socioeconomic structure. This requires a mastery of patience, determination, flexibility, proactive listening, and coaching, to reach the patient through the depression, and spark faith that this treatment could be a turning point in their life.

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner longing to offer something to your patients that prompts real healing?Join our team at Heading Health as we work to provide high quality psychiatric care to our patients flexibly across our 3 locations Dallas, Plano, Trophy Club and telehealth hours as needed.

As a Nurse Practitioner in our team, you will be responsible for conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mood and physical health disorders, developing treatment plans, and as needed providing medication management for patients 18 years and up. You will work closely with our team of providers to ensure comprehensive and effective care for our patients.You will excel in this role if you engage with the evidence base and personal stories of your patients and translate that into excavating connection in your patients lives; and the ability to connect and build trust with your patients as you support them into care. Your ability to be flexible and adjust to the specific needs of your patients will translate into effectiveness for this sensitive population we are honoured to serve.


Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments- Diagnose and treat mental health disorders- Develop individualised treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families- Provide psychiatric medication management and education to patients- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records


Requirements:


  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
  • Current NP certification and state licensure
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, technology enabled environment
  • Passion for providing quality care to depression patients
  • Entrepreneurial spirit

$110,000 - $140,000 per year
