Job Description: 

We are seeking a motivated and talented Industrial Automation Intern to join our team. This role involves a combination of remote and onsite work, with primary onsite responsibilities at various warehouses across the Atlanta area on weekday or weekends (typically 7 AM to 3 PM EST). Occasional travel to other cities may also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation, troubleshooting, and testing of vision-powered industrial automation systems.
• Perform onsite inspections and maintenance of automation equipment at different warehouses.
• Collaborate with the technology team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Support the integration of automation systems with existing warehouse infrastructure.
• Document and report on system performance and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of industrial automation and networking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Availability to work onsite at various warehouses across Atlanta on weekday or weekends (typically 7 AM to 3 PM).
• Work hours may fluctuate depending on project commitments. Not all weekends will require onsite work.
• Willingness to travel to other cities as needed occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with machine vision hardware and industrial automation systems.
• Understanding of PLC controllers, Switches, Routers, PoE, LAN, etc.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
