KOHAI is hiring an Art Director who will play a pivotal role in translating concepts and ideas into visually stunning designs that captivate a wide range of audiences. You'll collaborate with a variety of departments and manage workflows to facilitate the conception, production and delivery of meaningful design and content that will elevate the overall impact of our music and entertainment projects.

Are you a passionate and talented Art Director with a flair for visual storytelling and a love for the world of music and entertainment? Join our dynamic team at KOHAI, a multidisciplinary international music entertainment company based in the greater Seattle area.

This position is full-time, in-person in the Greater Seattle Area; open to remote-to-relocation.


  • Lead a team of designers and artists to create visually stunning designs for music and entertainment productions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong artistic vision that aligns with the company's brand and objectives.
  • Content production for various channels (social media, print, web).
  • Actively monitor and prioritize projects as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the creative output.
  • Present and articulate design concepts to internal/external team.


  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a creative leadership role
  • Familiarity of social media marketing and asset delivery
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projects
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for music and entertainment industry

Bonus Points:

  • Fluency in Korean, Spanish, Thai, Mandarin, and/or Japanese
  • Experience with 2D/3D animation
  • Experience with video production (editing, sfx)
  • Experience with front-end web development
  • Live events volunteer experience (festivals, concerts, conventions, etc)
