Knife & Faulk is a DFW catering and food-led experience studio founded by Chef Marlene Faulkner. From intimate weddings to corporate events and large-scale productions, we treat food, presentation, service, and timing as one experience, and we hold every detail to a high standard.

What you'll do

• Arrive on time, in uniform, and join the pre-event briefing on the menu, allergies, timeline and your section.
• Set tables, stations and service areas to the Knife & Faulk standard before guests arrive.
• Pass hors d'oeuvres and serve plated, family-style and buffet service with restaurant-level timing.
• Know the menu well enough to describe every dish. Check every allergy or ingredient question with the chef before answering.
• Keep your section clean, stocked and reset throughout the event.
• Help with breakdown and load-out at the end of the night.

What you bring

• Event, banquet or restaurant serving experience preferred. We will train the right person.
• A warm, steady presence with guests, and calm under a full room.
• 18 or older, with reliable transportation to events across Dallas and Fort Worth.
• Black slacks and black non-slip shoes. Texas Food Handler card preferred, or willing to get one before your first event.
• Able to stand for shifts of 6 or more hours, walk between kitchen and floor, and carry up to 25 lbs.

Schedule

Event-driven shifts, mostly evenings, Fridays and Saturdays, with some daytime and weekday events. Our busiest season runs November 20 through January 3. You choose the dates you are available.
