Kistler Law Firm, APC is seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist for our Palmdale office.


Prior law office experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, coachable, and comfortable speaking with clients, potential clients, visitors, and callers.


The receptionist is often the first person a potential client speaks with, so the right candidate should be warm, patient, professional, and able to communicate with urgency and care.


Responsibilities include:

  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls
  • Greeting and assisting clients, visitors, vendors, and office guests
  • Scheduling appointments for potential and current clients
  • Receiving, scanning, routing, and organizing mail, faxes, packages, and documents
  • Creating new client files in the firm’s electronic case management system
  • Keeping the reception area, conference rooms, break rooms, and shared office spaces neat and organized
  • Managing and replenishing office supplies
  • Breaking down boxes and moving mail, documents, packages, and office materials to the appropriate location
  • Assisting attorneys and staff with basic administrative tasks as needed

  • Strong phone and customer-service skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Coachable and willing to learn
  • Able to follow instructions and office procedures
  • Comfortable working with clients and potential clients
  • Able to work in a busy office environment
  • Spanish fluency is a plus
  • Prior receptionist, customer service, retail, hospitality, call center, or office experience is helpful, but not required

Salary

$17 - $18 per hour
