We are looking for a traveling trained, experienced Construction safety professional with a minimum 5 years of construction safety, for various locations.
Description
Safety Manager roles and responsibilities: Attend meetings with clients and construction managers to discuss safety protocols and procedures. Develop and review job safety analysis (JSA) for each project. Lead a team of safety professionals to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Conduct regular site audits to identify potential hazards and risks. Investigate and document any safety incidents that occur on site. Implement effective countermeasures and safe work practices to prevent future incidents.
Requirements: OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500 certifications, CHST or similar safety certifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint. Strong communication and leadership skills. Prior experience in a safety management role in the construction industry.
