Position Summary: 

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our small but growing therapy team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities, values teamwork, and is passionate about helping children achieve greater independence through engaging, evidence-based interventions. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR).
  • Implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  • Utilize play-based interventions to improve fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills. 
  • Accurately document treatment sessions and patient progress. 
  • Educate and collaborate with families regarding home programs and treatment goals. 
  • Communicate effectively with therapists, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment. 


What We Need:

Tuesday, Thursday

After School Hours 3:30-5:00 Monday through Friday


Qualifications: 

Required: 

  • Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. 
  • Current Texas COTA license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Preferred: 

  • Pediatric experience or Level II pediatric fieldwork. 
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, and other neurological orthopedic diagnoses.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
