Position Summary

We’re looking for a fully licensed therapist (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT) in North Carolina—ideally someone who brings an existing caseload or strong referral sources and is excited to shape the future of a growing practice. This is a hybrid employee position with both in-person and telehealth sessions. You’ll join a small, collaborative team where your voice matters and your ideas influence how we serve the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group therapy using creative, trauma-informed, and skills-based interventions
• Collaborate with our team through regular consultation meetings
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Contribute to the development of group programs and service offerings
• Support the mission and culture of Kindred as we grow intentionally

Who We’re Looking For

• A Fully licensed in North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT required; associate-level clinicians will not be considered for this role)
• Preferred: ability to bring or build your own caseload
• Experience working with neurodivergent clients, trauma, or young adults
• Comfort using or incorporating creative modalities, even if not formally trained in art therapy
• Excited by the opportunity to help shape systems and influence a growing practice

Additional Information

• Trial Period: 90-day hourly trial with structured onboarding and support. Transition to salaried employment based on fit and performance.
• Growth Environment: This is a startup-stage team—flexibility, initiative, and collaboration are key.
• Group Interview Dates: We host group interviews on the first Monday of every month. Please apply in advance to be considered for the next round.
• Rolling Applications: This position will remain open on an ongoing basis until the right candidates are found.

Compensation & Benefits

• $50–$80 per hour during trial, commensurate with experience and caseload
• Salary and/or bonus structure negotiable after trial
