Kind Mental Health Counselors is a values-driven group practice based in Kenmore, NY, committed to both exceptional client care and therapist well-being. Grounded in compassion and mutual respect, our mission is to provide holistic, client-centered care in a supportive and inclusive environment. We’re currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to build toward a full-time caseload based on your goals and availability. This is a flexible position with options for fully remote, hybrid, or in-office work. A minimum of 10 client-facing hours per week is required.

What You’ll Do
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy via telehealth, in-person, or both
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to all HIPAA, legal, and ethical standards
- Maintain a quiet, professional home office with reliable access to internet, computer, phone, and video
- Maintain an active NYS LMHC and malpractice insurance
- Commit to ongoing professional development and self-care
- Maintain a minimum of 10 clinical hours per week
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Experience with virtual counseling
- Compassionate, inclusive, and client-centered therapeutic approach
- Strong organization and timely documentation
- Reliable, private home office setup with internet and video capabilities
Preferred:
- Evening (3–9 PM) and/or weekend availability
- Experience or interest in working with children, couples, or families

Salary
$40 - $50 per hour
