We are currently seeking a fully licensed LMHC to join our team. This role may be hybrid; however, preference for in-person availability at our Kenmore, NY location. We have a growing waitlist and immediate need for a clinician who is open to seeing children and couples.
This is a part-time position with potential to grow into a full-time caseload.
Position Highlights
- Hybrid flexibility with preference for in-person sessions in Kenmore, NY
- Strong referral stream for children and couples. Will also schedule adult individual sessions.
- Evening (3–9 PM) and/or weekend availability preferred
- Part-time with opportunity to build to full-time
- W2 fee-for-service position

Responsibilities
- Provide in-person therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and couples
- Option to provide telehealth sessions as part of a hybrid schedule
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Adhere to all HIPAA, legal, and ethical standards
- Maintain reliable access to computer, phone, and video
- Maintain active malpractice insurance
- Commit to ongoing professional development and self-care
- Maintain a minimum of 10 client-facing hours per week, with preference for higher availability
Qualifications
Required:
- Active NYS LMHC license (fully licensed or pending licensure; MHC-P will not be considered for this role)
- Experience or strong interest in working with children and couples
- Evening and/or weekend availability
- Ability to work independently in a private practice setting
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Compassionate, inclusive, and client-centered therapeutic approach
Preferred:
- Specialized training in couples therapy, play therapy, trauma-informed care, EMDR, DBT, or CBT
- Interest in being an active participant in a collaborative group practice
