Position Description:

Position Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or similar preferred
High school diploma required
Valid Class D driver's license and pass pre-employment background check
Typical Responsibilities:
Provide positive first image for in-person visitors
Manage incoming phone calls, mail, and shipments, including forwarding and disbursement
Assist in data entry, including field reports, photo logs, boring logs, and lab testing
Assist in bookkeeping, including accounting journals, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Code incoming invoices for approval
Document company expenses and personal vehicle mileage
Record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, make bank deposits Track and order office supplies
Maintain proposal and project logs for resource scheduling
Maintain proposal and project files in active and archived directory
Manage paper assets, include electronic storage and disposal
Maintain communication logs to assist Project Managers and BD Associates
Organize databases to assist BD and executive functions
Maintain employee files, including certifications, training dates, and internal resumes
Coordinate company meetings, including scheduling, catering, and offsite event setup
Update company social media posts at prescribed intervals
Maintain company project maps and resumes for external presentations
Manage shipping of material from office and incoming from vendors
Position Location:
Combination of in-office work at Marine on Saint Croix location and remote work
Reports to:
President, Vice President, or Project Manager, as appropriate
Supervises:
May supervise interns or engineering technicians, depending on experience
Metrics:
Daily updates to Project Manager and above for new work, total calls, and open work
Requested work completed by deadlines 95% of the time
Complete New Hire Training within 2 months of hire
