The Role

As a Childcare Teacher at KidTown Academy, you will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. You will plan and implement educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Your role is essential in shaping the early learning experiences of our children.

What You'll Do

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that engage children in learning.

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to explore and express themselves.

- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience.

- Maintain a clean and safe classroom, ensuring all health and safety regulations are met.

- Build strong relationships with children and their families, promoting open communication.

- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

What We're Looking For

- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.

- Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans.

- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.

Nice to Have

- Certification in CPR and First Aid.

- Experience with special needs children or diverse learning environments.

- Additional training or coursework in early childhood education.
