Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Kidology

About the Role

As a BHT/RBT, you’ll work 1:1 with children in homes, schools, and community settings, helping them build communication, social, emotional, and daily living skills through play-based learning and positive behavior strategies.

Position Details

  • In-field role across the Philadelphia area
  • Evening and weekend options available
  • 1:1 sessions with children
  • Full-time, part-time, and 1099 options

What You’ll Do

  • Implement BCBA-designed behavior plans
  • Use play-based strategies to teach positive skills
  • Support communication, coping, and daily living skills
  • Encourage social and emotional development
  • Collaborate with families and clinical teams
  • Track progress and support meaningful outcomes

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • RBT certification (or willingness to complete training)
  • Experience with children preferred
  • Strong communication, patience, and reliability
  • Transportation for travel throughout the region
