Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for infants (ages 0-2 years), fostering early childhood development and learning. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting each child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities and interactions.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities to support infants' physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Provide a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for infants.
  • Foster positive relationships with infants, offering individualized attention, comfort, and care.
  • Monitor and record the progress of each child, including milestones, behavior, and developmental progress.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s development and any concerns.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining classroom routines and schedules.
  • Ensure that infants are fed, changed, and supervised at all times.
  • Encourage social interaction, language development, and early motor skills.
  • Follow and enforce health and safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; Early Childhood Education background, .
  • Experience working with infants or in a preschool setting is highly desirable.
  • A deep understanding of infant development and care.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or the willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy classroom setting.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to lift and carry infants, up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to kneel, bend, or squat to engage with children at their level.
  • Stand for extended periods and assist with classroom setup and cleanup.
