We are looking for an experienced director who is Bilingual in Spanish for our School! Our ECE center provides quality care and education for infants and preschool children. An ideal candidate would be bilingual in Spanish, experience running a larger center and will be able to operate the center in accordance with our policies and procedures and California state licensing regulations title 22 to provide an educational, nurturing, and safe environment for children, parents and staff.

Experience:
- 3 years of early childhood education experience required
- 1+ years of business management experience desirable
- Experience with NAEYC accreditation preferred
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills are required
- Bilingual in Spanish
Educational Qualifications:
- AA Degree in Child Development; Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent major is preferred
- A Minimum of 12 post-secondary units in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, 3 units in Infant/Toddler and 3-6 units in administrative/supervision
- Meets education criteria required by the state
- Child Development Site Supervisor Permit/ Program Director is desirable
License/Certification:
- CPR/ First Aid Certification or ability to obtain
- Completion CCL Record-Keeping and Application Component
- 16 hours of health and safety training which includes nutrition and lead certification and CPR and first aid
- Immunization records that comply with Senate Bill 792 (immunity for measles, pertussis, and influenza. Must provide proof of Tdap and MMR vaccinations (or receive vaccinations during health screening)
- Must pass a health screening and TB clearance
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
Job Knowledge/Skills:
- Responsible for accurate and updated record keeping of on-site teacher, child files, Community Care Licensing documentation,
- Computer skills-must be excellent and at a general business level that includes google workspace competence emails, sheets, slides, docs, met etc.
- Management of CRM system, online application competence not limited to enrollment, attendance, daily logs, curriculum, child observations
- Ability to provide leadership, accept responsibility, work independently
- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Experience or knowledge working at a start-up center is desirable but not required
- Keeps inventory orders and purchases site supplies as needed
- Provides developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities for children in accordance with our curriculum standards
- Maintains and follows all health and safety practices in compliance with Title 22 and early childhood education standards
- Conducts and create agendas for site meetings, staff development and training for teachers
- Manages all aspects of employee relations for all teaching staff and is directly involved with interviewing, hiring, and terminations.
- Immunization records that comply with Senate Bill 792 (immunity for measles, pertussis, and influenza)
