Full Time Optometrist (4 days/week) -

Location: Lakewood (located near Belmar)

Hours: Monday – Friday (No Saturdays and No late nights)

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for our patients, and we’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate part-time optometrist to join our team. Our practice is well-established and busy, serving a vibrant community with truly grateful and fascinating patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams, with a special focus on patients with brain injuries and neuro-rehabilitative needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
•  Educate patients on vision-related concerns, treatments, and ongoing care.
• Stay up to date with the latest in vision care technology (RF/IPL, Meibography, RF surgical excision, Topography, OCT, Humphrey VF, Virtual VF)

What You’ll Need:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Experience in neuro-rehabilitation or a keen interest in learning this distinctive and rewarding specialty within optometry.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• A passion for making a real difference in patients' lives.
