This is a full-time hybrid role for an Information Technology Technician based in Austin, Texas area with some remote work acceptable. The position will be home-based but require travel to customer's locations as needed for on-site support. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as providing user helpdesk, technical support, troubleshooting issues, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, assisting with the installation and maintenance of software and hardware, and delivering excellent customer service. The technician may also be responsible for training users on system functionalities and best practices. Bonuses available for new client acquisition.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and stay focused when working from home and with minimal supervision.
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities - researching and finding solutions for clients
• Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills (i.e. E-mail, Desktop, Internet, Mobile device and other issues)
• Proficiency in Information Technology systems and solutions (e.g., Microsoft servers and cloud products, routers and firewalls, etc.)
• Experience in providing users with step-by-step instructions on common usage procedures
• Experience with back-end user administration either on physical servers or in the Cloud
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred but related experience will be considered.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects/requests
• Reliable transportation is required
• Flexible work schedule - occasional evening, weekend or emergency work may be required.
