We are looking for a Sales Manager who can lead our sales efforts, manage a growing team, and drive revenue across BIM services, 3D laser scanning, scheduling, and field layout services. This role requires a hands-on leader with proven experience in consultative selling, pipeline management, and team leadership, preferably within AEC technology, or construction services. You will be responsible for building strategic relationships with GCs, MEP subs, owners, architects, and engineering firms while developing and mentoring a high-performing sales team.

Kelar Pacific is a leading provider of construction technology solutions specializing in BIM services, 3D laser scan to BIM, MEP detailing, construction scheduling, and robotic total station layout services. We partner with General Contractors, MEP trade contractors, owners, and design teams to deliver technology-driven construction workflows that improve accuracy, reduce risk, and accelerate project timelines.

We are expanding our San Diego office and seeking an experienced Sales Manager with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of construction technology and the AEC ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, train, and mentor an in-office Business Development team in San Diego
  • Build activity expectations, KPIs, and performance standards
  • Support the onboarding of new hires and create a metrics-driven sales culture

Sales Execution

  • Own regional revenue targets for San Diego and surrounding markets
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Conduct discovery meetings, workflow assessments, and solution presentations

Client Engagement & Territory Growth

  • Develop relationships with GCs, MEP contractors, owners, and design firms
  • Create targeted outreach strategies and coordinate with marketing
  • Attend local AEC events, user groups, and trade associations

Collaboration

  • Work closely with project teams
  • Provide accurate forecasts, pipeline reports, and market insights
  • Partner with operations to ensure smooth project handoff and customer success


What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10+ years in B2B sales, preferably AEC tech, BIM/VDC, or construction services
  • Leadership experience managing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows and technology adoption
  • Proven success in quota-carrying roles and territory growth
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • A hands-on, proactive mindset with the ability to coach others
  • Ability to work onsite in the San Diego office
