The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven, strategic Operations Manager based in the Philippines to help elevate and scale the performance of our offshore accounting and bookkeeping operations. This is a high-impact, behind-the-scenes leadership role focused on ensuring our Philippines-based professionals are aligned, equipped, and set up for success. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing team performance, integrating new hires, streamlining processes, and serving as a vital link between our U.S. leadership and offshore delivery teams.
This position is ideal for an operations-minded leader who understands how accounting teams work, thrives in a remote-first culture, and is passionate about process, people, and performance.
Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Coordinate day-to-day operations and ensure consistent execution of client work by supporting team leads, resolving workflow issues, and aligning priorities across pods.

Process Optimization: Help define, document, and continuously improve SOPs and operational workflows to ensure efficiency, consistency, and scalability.

Team Enablement & Support: Ensure team members have access to the tools, systems, and support they need to perform at a high level. Facilitate cross-training, onboarding, and cultural alignment.

Performance Monitoring: Track team KPIs such as turnaround times, error rates, and internal SLAs. Analyze trends and proactively recommend improvement initiatives.

Scaling Infrastructure: Identify and implement tools, systems, or organizational enhancements that improve delivery quality and team scalability as the business grows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary operations liaison between Philippines-based team members and U.S. leadership—ensuring clear communication, shared expectations, and proactive resolution of challenges.

New Hire Integration: Partner with HR and department leaders to onboard new team members effectively and ensure a seamless ramp-up into client-facing roles.

Change Management & Continuous Improvement: Lead operational change initiatives, tool rollouts, and process updates across the offshore team to ensure continuous progress.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Accounting, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in operations, service delivery, or team management in a professional services, BPO, or accounting environment
- Familiarity with accounting processes and terminology (CPA not required)
- Proven success supporting remote teams and distributed service delivery
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Excellent communicator who can build trust across teams, cultures, and time zones
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with execution
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with cloud-based systems like QuickBooks Online, Sage Intact, NetSuite, Karbon, Xero, Slack, and Asana
- Prior experience in offshore team operations or enablement is highly valued
