Accounting Manager (Philippines | Remote)

Job Type: Full-Time, not a contractor role

Location: Remote (Philippines-based)

Work Schedule: Night Shift | 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM PHT (U.S. time zone alignment)


Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead a remote accounting team while managing multiple U.S.-based clients. This is a client-facing role requiring strong U.S. accounting experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities


  • Lead, mentor, and support junior accounting staff
  • Manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Serve as a primary client-facing accounting contact (phone & email)
  • Ensure timely, accurate completion of accounting deliverables
  • Review and oversee financial statements and client reports
  • Manage workflows, deadlines, and priorities across clients
  • Identify process improvements and support implementation
  • Support audits, tax-related requests, and data accuracy


Required Experience & Qualifications


  • U.S. accounting experience required
  • Experience managing multiple clients and open projects
  • Prior client-facing accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Technical Skills


  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Sage Intacct
  • Familiarity with tools such as Bill.com, Ramp, RHO, Track, Expensify, Guesty Accounting, or similar platforms
  • Experience handling large data imports into QuickBooks Online
  • Familiarity with payroll platforms such as Gusto or ADP
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new software tools
