Our IT Site Administrators are responsible for maintaining and supporting the day-to-day IT operations at our client’s physical locations. They serve as the primary onsite IT resource and the “face of IT,” delivering high-touch, white-glove support while ensuring all systems, networks, and end-user technologies are running efficiently and securely. This role acts as a key escalation point for technical issues and as the local “smart hands” for centralized Infrastructure and Network teams. You will manage hardware and infrastructure deployments, support the physical layer of IT (including server rooms and networking equipment), and partner closely with both local stakeholders and global IT teams.

Daily Objectives

  • Provide onsite, high-touch support for end users, including hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Serve as the onsite “smart hands” for centralized IT teams, supporting server, network, and infrastructure maintenance
  • Maintain and support local IT infrastructure (networking, servers, printers, and devices)
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and device lifecycle (Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes) including provisioning and access setup
  • Take ownership of the local office technology ecosystem, including conference rooms, AV systems, and executive support
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues before they impact users
  • Manage hardware inventory, asset tracking, and documentation
  • Partner with centralized IT teams on deployments, upgrades, and maintenance initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to security policies, compliance standards, and best practices
  • Support site-level IT projects such as office moves, expansions, and infrastructure upgrades


Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments
  • Experience supporting network infrastructure (routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and cabling fundamentals)
  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, deployment, and physical infrastructure (rack/stack, cabling, etc.)
  • Experience with identity and access management tools (Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, etc.)
  • Experience with endpoint management tools (Intune, JAMF, Kandji, SCCM, etc.)
  • Ability to troubleshoot across systems, networks, and devices
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset


Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting biotech or laboratory environments is highly preferred
  • Experience with IT service management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)
  • Basic scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
  • Experience supporting SaaS applications and SSO environments
  • Exposure to cloud or virtualization platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience working in regulated environments


Compensation & Benefits

Target Salary Range: $100,000 – $115,000 (based on experience)
