Description
We are in search of an experienced back of the house crew member to join our team.
Responsibilities :
Prepare base ingredients and toppings for sandwiches, pizzas, entrees and pastries and other menu items.
Prepare cooked items, baked goods, dips and sauces and all associated preparations for baking, prepping, and cooking complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and following established food production recipes and safe temperatures.
Keeping abreast of the items to be ordered in a timely manner to avoid running out of items.
Restocking the service line with all items needed ensuring smooth operation.
Basic tasks will include slicing, dicing, mixing, blending, cooking and baking.
fullfill catering orders as well as cooking for the service line.
Properly timing the process of defrosting, marinating, freezing & refrigerating and labeling according to health standards and procedures.
Opening and closing the kitchen following standard procedures to include washing the dishes, mopping the floors, restocking, cleaning kitchen stations, and keeping inventory.
Ensures appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss and waste.
Maintain all stations and service /display area in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner.
Returning ingredients to storage after use to ensure freshness
Maintain personal health and sanitation standards (washing hands when using restroom, etc
Maintain dishes and utensils clean and put away properly.
Check if all equipment operates properly and with proper temperatures and report any maintenance needs
Comply with health and safety regulations
Maintaining a clean and safe environment in the kitchen, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring all health department regulations are met.
