Plumbing & HVAC Dispatcher

DISPATCH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED


Position Overview

As a Plumbing & HVAC Dispatcher, you are the operational hub of our service department. You will coordinate technicians, communicate with customers, and ensure each day runs efficiently and profitably. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and experienced in dispatching home service technicians.


Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and dispatch plumbing & HVAC technicians based on location, skill set, and workload
  • Communicate with technicians throughout the day and debrief completed jobs
  • Prioritize calls to maximize efficiency, revenue, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage on-call rotations and after-hours dispatch procedures
  • Maintain accurate records in dispatch and customer management systems
  • Proactively update customers on arrival times and service progress
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and escalate issues as needed
  • Assist with administrative coordination, billing accuracy, and operational support
  • Follow company policies, confidentiality standards, and performance expectations
  • Participate in training, meetings, and emergency dispatch rotation
