The Quality Control Analyst supports a portfolio of Energy Efficiency Programs by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of project data across the program database. The role involves establishing QA/QC parameters, running exception reports to catch missing documentation and data anomalies, and conducting in-depth reviews of sampled projects — verifying invoices, product specifications, required documentation, and sign-offs against program standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Work with TRC management to identify Quality Assurance/Quality Control parameters for projects
within a portfolio of Energy Efficiency Programs.
• Run Excel-based exception reports to identify missing required project notation or documentation,
inputs that fall outside an expected range of values, or apparent duplicates of projects previously
submitted projects.
• Provide comprehensive Quality Control reviews on a sample of projects from the program portfolio.
Reviews include matching invoices against costs input in the program database, matching product
specification details against those input in the database, identifying required documentation, and
identifying proper document signoffs.
• Report findings and trends to TRC management.
• Develop and present PowerPoint presentations to management detailing findings.
• Provide recommendations for future Quality Assurance initiatives.
• Develop and maintain QA/QC logs, plans, procedures, and supporting documentation
• Ensure data accuracy, validity, and compliance with program requirements and best
practices
• Analyze project trends and identify deviations from program requirements
• Conduct gap analyses and develop training to address inconsistencies
Basic Qualifications
• Ability to handle a high volume of combined invoice/workbook/database/documentation
reviews.
• Attention to detail.

• Solid computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and database programs.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION (Desirable)
• Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• 1-5 years of bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience.

There will be a blend of on-site and remote work. Candidate will be required to travel to local New Brunswick, NJ. Candidate may be required to attend at least one monthly meeting on-site at TRC NJ office located at 317 George Street, Suite 520, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

$75,000 - $90,000 per year
