Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will perform a variety of processing activities in support of Energy Consultants, installation Partners and customers on energy efficiency projects.

The individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, project creation support, document verification, accurate and timely reviews of projects and payment of project rebates.

The Project Specialist (PS) will be required to operate across several programs and multiple dashboard queues to assure that projects are continuously progressed based on daily responses from contractors and customers. 

The PS will have specific accountabilities to assure project accuracy and that project requirements have been validated and met.

Candidate must be able to work within a multi-faceted environment to meet both project and program goals and objectives.

The candidate must operate at a high degree of accuracy and be comfortable assessing various types of submittals and progressing applications to their next stages of review.

The Project Specialist will use MS Dynamics CRM software to progress energy efficiency applications through required milestones and interact across functional areas to ensure timely responses to customers and program partners; raise issues and exceptions to appropriate levels for resolution; provide insights on how to improve program design and processing for better overall delivery and value; understand and communicate changes in volume trends to help offset potential delays; ensure outstanding customer and contractor satisfaction; cross train coworkers on program requirements; participate in local New Brunswick, NJ marketing events and conferences.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to understand and follow procedures.
  • Ability to quickly assess information and take appropriate actions to maintain process flow
  • Strong data entry skills; Strong communication
  • Comfort with fast-changing work priorities and multitasking.
  • Business acumen to include a working knowledge and understanding of invoice documents, equipment specifications and operational functions required to provide sound program support.
  • Aptitude for Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics. Ability to work with Excel workbooks and to create and upload documents and files.
  • Requires attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Energy Efficiency program experience.
  • Professional presence with desire to improve processes and exceed program savings goals.


DESIRED SKILLS

  • Advanced Word skills; Understands and has strong Excel skills.
  • Associate degree from an accredited college in a related discipline experience is desirable.
  • Three plus years of experience supporting customer programs is desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining customer, client, and partner relationships with a high level of satisfaction
  • Professional presence with desire to improve processes and exceed program savings goals.
  • Can present program details to audiences for recruitment and participation requirements.


EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION (Desirable)

  • Associate degree from an accredited college in a related discipline experience is desirable.
  • Three plus years of experience supporting customer programs is desirable.


WORK LOCATION

There will be a blend of onsite and remote work. Candidate will be required to be in the office bimonthly (average) at TRC NJ office located at 317 George Street, Suite 520, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

NOTE: Candidate must be New Jersey Resident and reside in New Jersey.  


WORK SCHEDULE

a. Project Specialist will work 40 hours a week.

b. Any hours over 40 hours a week must be preapproved in writing from Manager.

Salary

$65,000 - $75,000 per year
