This role will strengthen youth engagement across NSC projects, expand access to resources, and empower young people to achieve personal and professional goals while building resilience and leadership.

KAVI promotes community wellness and healing by operating high-impact youth violence prevention and intervention programs in Central Brooklyn by incorporating trauma-informed care, public health principles, and social work practices. Our programs take place in hospital-based, school, and community settings. We are a fast-paced, rapidly growing nonprofit

Job Description:
The Youth Advocate will serve as a key staff member supporting young people in East Flatbush, Erasmus, and Remsen Village. Working within the framework of KAVI’s Neighborhood Safety Council (NSC), the Youth Advocate will provide direct support to youth in employment, education, and entrepreneurial activities. This role will strengthen youth engagement across NSC projects, expand access to resources, and empower young people to achieve personal and professional goals while building resilience and leadership.
