We are a growing property management firm seeking a professional and highly capable full-time Community Association Manager to manage and oversee the daily operations of 10-12 POA and HOA communities. We provide our community managers with the support of a dedicated customer service coordinator, senior community manager, and support staff to lighten the workload and allow our team to provide superior customer service and effective management.
Position: Community Association Manager
Board & Governance Support:
- Manage a portfolio of 10-12 condo and/or HOA communities
- Serve as primary contact to the association Board of Directors
- Implement board decisions accurately and promptly
- Attend Board Meetings and Annual Meetings as scheduled
- Prepare board packets, agendas, meeting minutes, and management reports
- Provide guidance on governing documents and compliance with Texas Property Code
Financial Oversight:
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor monthly financials
- Understand variances and explain to the Board
- Manage past due accounts and follow the Association's collection policy
- Approve invoices and expenses align with the adopted budget
- Work with accounting staff to ensure accurate financial documentation
Community Operations:
- Coordinate maintenance work orders and projects
- Process and track ARC/ACC requests
- Conduct routine property inspections and ensure compliance with community rules
- Enforce CC&Rs and community rules consistently and professionally
Homeowner Relations:
- Respond promptly to phone calls and emails
- Assist homeowners with account, policy, ARC/ACC, and general questions
- Maintain strong positive relationships with residents and vendors
Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records for each association in company systems
- Track insurance requirements, vendor contracts, and renewals
- Assist with insurance claims and maintain documentation
Qualifications:
- Active CMCA certification required
- 2+ years HOA/POA management or property management experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of basic financial statements and terminology
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
