Kansas City K9 Academy is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time or part-time Dog Trainer. This is an entry-level position in dog training, offering an excellent opportunity for those passionate about working with dogs. While prior experience is not required, candidates with relevant experience will be given preference.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and responsibly handle canine clients, prioritizing the safety of both staff and dogs.
• Teach obedience commands to dogs enrolled in training programs, fostering positive behavior and learning.
• Maintain a clean and organized kennel environment to ensure a healthy and hygienic space.
• Collaborate with our human clients during take-home lessons to ensure the transfer of skills and knowledge.
