The Fueling Technician supports flight operations by safely and efficiently fueling aircraft. This role is responsible for coordinating fueling activities, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring all safety and compliance requirements are met.
1. Fueling Operations
· Ensure accurate and safe fueling of aircraft or other vehicles according to specified requirements, including monitoring fuel levels and managing refueling equipment.
· Ensure that fuel is delivered on time to avoid delays in flight schedules or vehicle operations.
· Keep detailed records of all fueling operations, including the amount of fuel dispensed, the time, and the aircraft or vehicle being serviced.
2. Coordination and Communication
· Work closely with maintenance team, flight operations and pilots to ensure smooth refueling operations and to meet fueling requirements based on the aircraft’s flight plan.
· Report any fueling issues, malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors or relevant teams immediately for quick resolution.
· Ensure that refueling operations are completed quickly and efficiently to minimize delays and disruptions
3. Safety and Compliance
· Strictly following all safety protocols during refueling operations, including grounding the aircraft or vehicle, wearing protective equipment, and monitoring for fuel spills.
· Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations (such as FAA, OSHA, and environmental protection laws) regarding fuel handling, storage, and transportation.
· Safely handle hazardous materials (i.e., fuel) and following proper procedures for dealing with emergencies such as fuel spills, leaks, or fire risks.
· Guarantee that fuel storage tanks are properly maintained and that temperature, pressure, and other conditions are monitored to maintain fuel quality.

Physical Duties and Requirements
o Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
o Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, stand and lift above head.
o Must be able to adhere to process protocol.
o Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.
o Must have a current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
o HAZMAT Endorsement in the state of Hawaii

o High school diploma or equivalent related experience
