Job Responsibilities

Customer Service and Support

  • Provide information to customers regarding available air cargo services, rates, and shipment schedules.
  • Manage and process air cargo bookings by coordinating with clients and internal teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of pricing structures and any applicable promotions.
  • Notify customers of any delays or issues affecting their shipments and offering alternative solutions.

Data Entry and Recordkeeping

  • Ensure that all customer interactions, bookings, and sales activities are properly logged for future reference.
  • Ensure that all relevant booking details, such as cargo weight, dimensions, and special handling instructions, are accurately recorded.
  • Generate reports on sales performance, booking trends, and customer interactions.

Cargo Documentation

  • Input cargo booking information into the company’s systems and maintaining accurate records of all transactions.
  • Prepare and verify all required documents for shipments, such as air waybills, customs declarations, and manifests.
  • Communicate special handling requirements or priority shipments to the operations team.
  • Weighs, and measures items to determine costs using established rates.

Perform other duties as assigned.


Physical Duties and Requirements

  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and use a computer.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to adhere to process protocol.
  • Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to communicate with employees regarding concerns in a confidential manner.
  • Occasional travel between office locations or to off-site meetings/events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license, ability to obtain an Airport Motor Vehicle Operating Permit, and the ability to obtain certification to operate forklift trucks for the purpose of loading and unloading freight.
  • Available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday through Friday
  • Weekends as needed
