Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect to join our team at K5 Company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design excellence, a strong technical background, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion. As a Project Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the built environment through innovative design and sustainable practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of architectural projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project goals, and K5 Company’s vision.
  • Manage all phases of project development, including concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, interior designers, and consultants, to develop integrated design solutions.
  • Conduct site analyses, feasibility studies, and code reviews to ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, detailed drawings, and project documentation to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee the coordination of construction activities, including site visits, progress meetings, and quality control inspections.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and project team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and sustainable design practices to continually improve project outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Architect in state of Michigan (Florida a plus) with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects of varying scales and complexities.
  • Strong proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent understanding of building codes, standards, and construction practices.
  • Strong design and technical skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • LEED Accreditation or other sustainability certifications.
  • Experience with mixed-use, commercial, or residential projects.
  • Knowledge of project management software and tools.
