K1 Speed is seeking a reliable and friendly cashier to join our team at a fast-paced, high-volume family entertainment center. In this role, you will be responsible for responsible for preparing alcohol and non-alcohol beverages, handling customer transactions, managing the Point of Sale system, and providing excellent customer service to all guests. In addition to your cashier duties, you will also be responsible for taking orders, preparing food, and ensuring the restaurant is clean and organized at all times. This position includes commissions based on sales of race packages and tips when assigned to the Paddock lounge.

Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers as they arrive and process their orders through the Point of Sale system
  • Promote and sell race packages to customers, earning commission based on cashier percentages
  • Coordinate and schedule races precisely and efficiently
  • Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
  • Handle credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in person in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take orders, prepare food, and ensure timely delivery to customers
  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
  • Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
  • Serve food and beverages with outstanding customer service
  • Clean glasses, utensils, bar equipment, and linen
  • Clean and maintain bar, Paddock Lounge, banquet rooms, and work areas
  • Stock and organize beverages, mixers, garnishes, and operating supplies
  • Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking, or ordering other transportation for intoxicated patrons

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with reliable transportation
  • Previous experience as a cashier and/or bartender
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
