The Civil Design Engineer is responsible for the work associated with technical calculations, reports, design and coordination of civil engineering site development projects. Design Engineers are involved with various elements of site design, including erosion control, grading, stormwater, sewer, water and franchise utility design. They work hand-in-hand with project managers, project engineers, and design technicians.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S.C.E. OR M.S.C.E.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification
• 4+ years of experience in Civil Engineering
• Expertise working within AutoCAD Civil3D
• Preferred experience using storm water modeling software (StormShed, WWHM, MGS Flood, etc.)
• Preferred experience with site planning, storm water/sewer/water/grading/roadway design and permitting in local agencies.
• Preferred experience drafting/designing commercial, industrial and/or residential site development projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Superior organizational and time management skills
