WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Instruction & Evaluation: Teach a comprehensive course syllabus and deliver engaging instruction on pharmacy law, pharmacology, dosage calculations, and prescription processing. Develop and use a fair method to measure student progress, providing prompt feedback and exam prep for national certification.
- Student Support: Demonstrate sensitivity to student needs, offering tutoring and academic counseling—particularly with pharmacy math and terminology—to ensure maximum learning.
- Classroom Management: Monitor classroom operations, including student attendance (absenteeism and tardiness), discipline, and general academic behavior.
- Compliance: Follow all approved school policies and procedures in the conduct of instructional activities and maintain alignment with PTCB or NHA standards.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience: A minimum of three years of experience as a Pharmacist.
- Certification: Current National Certification (CPhT) is required.
- Attended Train to Trainer Workshop for Medication Aide: (Health care Association Of New Jersey (HCANJ) continuing education Certification.)
- Skills: Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven, with strong mathematical proficiency and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Bonus: Proficiency in Bilingual Spanish or Creole is a plus, but not required.
WHAT WE OFFER:
Compensation: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
