To continue operating at our high standards, we are seeking a meticulous and responsible shipping associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling and packing a wide range of artwork and objects that can be fragile, complex in shape and size, and diverse in materiality. The role demands strong attention to detail and a thoughtful approach to ensure client purchases and property are safely and efficiently packed for shipment.


RESPONSIBILITIES   

  • Accurately pick and pack client purchases and property for shipping 
  • Perform quality control inspections prior to packing property for shipping 
  • Ensure items are securely packed and labeled to prevent damage during transit  
  • Maintain an organized workspace and keep accurate records of shipments  
  • Work with Shipping Manager and Director of Operations to ensure shipping deadlines and fulfillment requirements are met  

  

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset  
  • Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or packing is preferred but not required 
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak auction season 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ebbs and flows 
  • Substantial lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of property is required   
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time is required 


PAY & SCHEDULE

  • Compensation: $20-$22 hourly ($40,000 - $45,000 annually)
  • Schedule: 40 hours/week
  • This is an in-person position
  • Bonus eligible
