The Manager, Business Operations Improvement is the key stakeholder of the company’s Quality and Continuous Improvement Plan and is responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s processes. You will partner with department leaders to identify and improve operating efficiencies with a mindset and passion of delivering a world-class customer experience.

Description

Responsibilities (Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job)

  • Participates in strategic planning sessions along with other Leadership Team Members to set goals for improvement initiatives
  • Analyze business processes to determine areas for improvement, with the partnership of team leaders
  • Design new processes with or improve existing processes by creating flowcharts and diagrams.
  • Conduct FMEA to identify potential problems
  • Create training material for employees to learn about new processes or procedures
  • Communicate with Senior Managers about the status of projects and providing updates on progress through the company’s project management tool
  • Evaluate the success of process improvements by monitoring metrics such as employee satisfaction, productivity, turnover rate, and complaints from customers
  • Ensure the company’s operating systems align with operating procedures 
  • Ensure processes are measurable through key metrics and proactively update key metrics through the company’s analytic and business intelligence systems
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Drive to meet or exceed daily performance metrics related to key performance indicators.
  • Ability to design process flows, SOPs and FMEAs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and industry continuous improvement standards
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sixma Methodologies
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, across all levels of employees and management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality metrics and standard work processes. Ability to work cross-functionally to establish key processes, metrics, and standard work
  • Ability to monitor, track and interpret data and analyze to identify trends and operational areas of opportunity
  • Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to “Think Big” and “Act Small” with an agile approach to solve complex problems
  • Well-organized self-started


Qualifications (Experience and Education)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field preferred
  • 1 to 2 years experience in a quality/continuous improvement role or similar role
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification by the Council for Six Sigma Certification (“C.S.S.C.”) (or from a learning institution accredited by the C.S.S.C.) with the ability to obtain the Green Belt Certification within 6 months, preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent, required
  • 1 to 2 years experience with Brightree and Salesforce Administrator, preferred
  • A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Salary

$58,000 - $70,000 per year
