The administrative assistant role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the organization, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling general office tasks. - Welcome and greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers
- Respond to emails and provide information about services upon request
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for multiple staff members
- Manage program registrations, scheduling, and payments for services
- Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and mailing
- Assist with data entry and maintain electronic and paper records
- Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Coordinate meetings and events, including preparing agendas and taking minutes
- Provide administrative support to staff members as required
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
- Professional phone etiquette and strong communication skills
- Criminal background check and drug test may be required
This position offers a weekday/daytime schedule with competitive pay based on experience.
