Journey of Life Behavioral Health Services, LLC is a CARF-accredited behavioral health organization dedicated to providing high-quality mental health and substance use disorder treatment services to individuals and families throughout Maryland. With convenient locations in Edgewood and Bel Air, Maryland, we proudly serve adults and adolescents in a supportive, compassionate, and judgment-free environment. Our comprehensive services include Mental Health Treatment, Early Intervention, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Outpatient Programs (OP), and DUI/DWI education classes for court-mandated clients. We specialize in treating individuals with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, utilizing evidence-based practices and a client-centered approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Journey of Life Behavioral Health Services is seeking qualified and compassionate mental health professionals to join our growing team. We are currently hiring the following licensed clinicians:


  • LGPC – Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor
  • LCPC – Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
  • LMFT – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
  • LGAC – Licensed Graduate Alcohol and Drug Counselor
  • LCAC – Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor


The ideal candidate will provide mental health and/or substance use disorder services to individuals, families, and groups. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing counseling services, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support client recovery and wellness.


Qualifications:


  • Current Maryland LGPC, LCPC, LMFT, LGAC, or LCAC license in good standing
  • Experience working with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
  • Commitment to providing ethical, client-centered, and culturally responsive care
