About the Operations Lead Position:

Our Operations Lead oversees Binkey's financial controls, partner contracting, people operations (including hiring procedures & internal culture building), and compliance.

This role is perfect for a detail oriented, analytical generalist who isn't afraid of complexity. As part of a fast-growing startup, you'll play a critical role in building operational excellence and processes to allow our business to continue to grow. You'll also play an integral role in creating and implementing quality assurance systems that make sure we meet a high degree of customer satisfaction. You'll be working alongside mission-driven individuals who are passionate about making a difference in how healthcare is paid for.


  • Manage the lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewal, and relevant documentation, in partnership with outside counsel
  • Conduct regular audits of payment records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines, contractual agreements, and internal policies
  • Manage accounts payable activities in partnership with our external accounting partner
  • Develop and optimize organizational hiring and personnel development practices in partnership with functional leads
  • Administer employee benefit programs and payroll processes
  • Oversee and administer Binkey compliance programs for HIPAA, PCI, and SOC-2
  • Prepare and submit required filings and reports to regulatory agencies in compliance with applicable laws and regulations


  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a fintech, insurance, or healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in Excel and tools for data analysis and management
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with FP&A
  • Experience working at a payments platform or on a SaaS platform with integrated payments
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, PCI compliance, and/or SOC-2
  • Experience with contract management systems or software
  • Familiarity with business license requirements and filing processes
