Description

Property Management Essential Functions:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned commercial properties, ensuring seamless functionality and tenant satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between landlords and tenants, fostering positive relationships and addressing tenant concerns.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively.
  • Interpret and enforce lease agreements on behalf of property owners and tenants.
  • Solicit, review, and oversee competitive bids for contracted services and property maintenance.
  • Coordinate property repairs and improvements with contractors, vendors, service providers, and maintenance in alignment with approved budgets.
  • Prepare and present monthly management reports to owners, outlining financial performance, operational updates, and leasing activities.
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets to align with ownership goals and expectations.
  • Represent ownership interests in meetings and engagements related to managed properties.
  • Remain on-call to handle emergencies and urgent property concerns as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years property management experience.
  • Understanding and knowledge of accounting/financial information
  • Ability to work on a variety of tasks
  • Experience and knowledge of property management principles, local housing laws, and tenant-landlord regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and track multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with property management software (AppFolio) is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Takes initiative and completes project assignments independently and on time.
  • Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organization/attention to detail, time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to work without supervision in a small office environment setting.
