Ministry Purpose: Consistent with Romans 12:9-15 and Ephesians 4:11-12, all Bethlehem Church employees are responsible for assisting the Lead Pastor and staff in carrying out the daily ministry functions of Bethlehem Church and all other duties as assigned.

Job Description: This position will be responsible for the execution of all musical elements of our worship service. This person is to hold themselves to a high standard of both spiritual and musical excellence, and to ensure that the spiritually authentic atmosphere of Bethlehem Worship is maintained across all campuses. This person’s role is to encourage, challenge and help others grow spiritually.

Reports To: Senior Worship & Experience Pastor

Key Responsibilities:

Worship Execution & Service Planning

• Lead worship for assigned services, gatherings, and special events
• Collaborate with Worship, Production, and Experience teams on worship planning, song selection, service preparation, and rehearsal execution
• Support and maintain the overall worship culture, vision, and atmospheric standard across all church campuses

Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, train, and mentor worship volunteers and emerging leaders
• Build relational connection with team members, encouraging both their spiritual maturity and musical development
• Foster a healthy team culture rooted in preparation, humility, encouragement, and excellence

Administrative & Operations

• Manage administrative duties, communication, and scheduling necessary to support assigned ministry areas
• Attend regular staff meetings, ministry planning sessions, and performance evaluations
• Carry out other duties and special projects as assigned by leadership

Professional & Musical Skills

• Strong vocal and musical abilities, with proven capability to lead both a congregation and a worship team
• Demonstrated capacity in creative ideation, worship leadership, and team development
• Relational, teachable, and proactive leadership style that welcomes feedback and thrives in a collaborative environment
• Highly organized with strong time management, detail orientation, and high confidentiality standards
• Adaptable, self-motivated, and flexible to changing ministry needs

Spiritual Criteria:

• Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior with a commitment to personal spiritual growth
• Must attend Bethlehem Church and model the character expectations of church leadership
• Maintains a godly attitude and handles conflict biblically according to the Employee Handbook

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• 5-7 years of pastoral and/or worship leading experience (preferred) 
• Highly called; passionate about leading worship
