Ministry Purpose: Consistent with Romans 12:9-15 and Ephesians 4:11-12, all Bethlehem Church employees are responsible for assisting the Lead Pastor and staff in carrying out the daily ministry functions of Bethlehem Church and all other duties as assigned.


Job Description: The Video Production Director plans, supervises, and executes all aspects of video creation and live service execution across all Bethlehem Church campuses and weekend services. Working closely with the service programming team, this person will ensure seamless transitions from creative concept to live execution while maintaining the highest standard of excellence and ensuring all production hardware and video systems are reliably maintained and operationally ready.

Reports To: Central Technical Director 


Key Responsibilities:


Creative & Live Service Production

  • Creative Storytelling: Collaborate with the Creative Director to generate storytelling ideas, guiding the video team to refine and produce finished projects on time and within budget.
  • Weekend Execution: Direct or produce video at one of our locations for 48 weekends per year.
  • Programming Alignment: Coordinate with the service programming team to ensure all elements transfer smoothly from production meetings to live services.
  • Production Meetings: Actively participate in weekly production meetings.


Team Leadership & Operations

  • Spiritual Discipleship: Support leadership in fostering the spiritual growth of tech team members.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Asset Management: Oversee the routine maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and inventory of all video production gear (cameras, switchers, routers, displays, cabling, etc) across all campuses to ensure maximum technical reliability during live environments.
  • Volunteer Onboarding & Scheduling: Lead volunteer training and follow-up processes for new team members and visitors.
  • Team Health Monitoring: Manage Planning Center Online (PCO) to ensure service spots are filled and the ministry team remains healthy and supported.
  • Evaluations & Other Duties: Participate in annual performance reviews, along with handling other assigned tasks as needed.


Qualifications & Requirements


Experience & Technical Skills

  • Experience: 3–5 years in a full-time role as a Video Director.
  • Editing Software: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro (FCP), and Blackmagic editing suites.
  • Hardware & Maintenance Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of video production hardware, signal flow troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance for broadcast cameras, switchers, and streamlining infrastructure.
  • Audio: Proficiency in audio mixing specifically tailored for video.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
