Description

Ministry Purpose: Consistent with Romans 12:9-15 and Ephesians 4:11-12, all Bethlehem Church employees are responsible for assisting the Lead Pastor and staff in carrying out the daily ministry functions of Bethlehem Church, as well as all other duties as assigned.


Job Description: This position requires someone who is responsible for vision casting, recruiting, activating, equipping, and unleashing teams of volunteers to engage people in an authentic community at Bethlehem Church.


Job Classification: Full-Time | Exempt


Reports To: Community & Global Missions Pastor


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute local outreach visions at Bethlehem Church 
  • Provide strategic thinking to all community activities and ministries of Bethlehem Church 
  • Administer all aspects of our community ministries through trained and effective ministry teams
  • Establish and coordinate partnerships with various local leaders in the community
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute big community events in accordance with our philosophy  
  • Link our congregation with local ministries serving the marginalized 
  • Work together with local churches to create effective ways of serving locally, regionally, and globally 
  • Recruit, train, and develop volunteers continually while providing opportunities to serve in the community
  • Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with local schools, administrators, and community leaders to create meaningful opportunities for support, engagement, and outreach
  • Lead the church’s involvement in school-based initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and community programs that strengthen relationships with students, families, and educators
  • Serve as a visible and relational presence within the local school systems, helping connect church resources and community ministry efforts to the practical needs of schools and families
  • Participate in annual evaluations
  • Other tasks as assigned
