Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a safe and inviting environment for customers.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating to management when necessary.
- Keep track of inventory and restock shelves as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide support during busy periods.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to assist customers with inquiries and provide recommendations.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role in a customer service-oriented environment.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must comply with the company's policy regarding criminal background inquiries.
